COVID-19 Relief Fund T-shirt
Takashi Murakami has collaborated with the fashion brand Supreme to create an original T-shirt to raise funds for HELP USA. Over a million dollars in proceeds from the sale of the shirt have been donated to the nonprofit to support youth and families facing homelessness during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In conjunction with the exhibition Hiroshige’s 100 Famous Views of Edo (feat. Takashi Murakami) at the Brooklyn Museum, Murakami and curator Joan Cummins will discuss the artist’s new series of fantastical paintings that respond to Utagawa Hiroshige’s 100 Famous Views of Edo (1856–58), now on view at the museum for the first time in twenty-four years. Cummins and Murakami will also reflect on Hiroshige’s contributions to global art history and his role as a witness to and chronicler of environmental and social change.

Notes to Selves, Trains of Thought
Dieter Roelstraete, curator at the Neubauer Collegium for Culture and Society at the University of Chicago and coeditor of a recent monograph on Rick Lowe, writes on Lowe’s journey from painting to community-based projects and back again in this essay from the publication.
